Nail polish bottles

I can find a lot of different patterns on the web, but not the one for a (nice) nail polish bottle, I decided to try to design my own pattern. In this article I'll show you the pattern for the red bottle.

For this bottle I used a 2,5 hook and two colours, one for the bottle and one for the cap en text.

Abbreviations
CH = chain
BK LPS = back loops only
SC = single crochet
DEC = decrease

Pattern bottle

With red or any other colour, from an adjustable ring:

-          Rnd 1: CH 1, 6 SC in ring, join

-          Rnd 2: CH 1, 2 SC in each SC, join (12)

-          Rnd 3: CH 1, SC around in BK LPS, join (12)

-          Rnd 4: CH 1, SC around, join (12)

-          Rnd 5: CH 1, (1 SC, 2 SC) around, join (18)

-          Rnd 6-7: CH 1, SC around, join (18)

-          Rnd 8: CH 1, (1 SC, 1 SC, 2 SC) around, join (24)

-          Rnd 9: CH 1, SC around, join (24)

-          Rnd 10: CH 1, (1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC, DEC) around, join (20)

-          Rnd 11: CH 1, (1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC, DEC) around, join (16)

-          Rnd 12: CH 1, (1 SC, 1 SC, DEC) around, join (12)

-          Rnd 13: CH 1, (1 SC, DEC) around, join (8)

-          Fill with fiberfill

-          Fasten off

Pattern cap

With black or any other colour, from an adjustable ring:

-          Rnd 1: CH 1, 6 SC in ring, join

-          Rnd 2: CH 1, SC around, join (6)

-          Rnd 3: CH 1, (1 SC, 1 SC, 2 SC) around, join (8)

-          Rnd 4-8: CH 1, SC around, join (8)

-          You can add rounds if you want a longer cap

-          Fill with fiberfill

-          Fasten off leaving a long tail

Assembly

-          Sew the cap on the bottle with the long tail and fasten off.

-          If you like you can make some letters on the bottle.

Keychain

-          Make a chain with six little rings

-          Sew the chain on top of the cap

-          Attach a big ring as a keychain
